Maintenance and repairs

Plumbing repairs and maintenance in Hull

Most of what we do is the ordinary work: a toilet that will not stop filling, a tap that has dripped for two years, a radiator that stays cold at the top. Small jobs, done properly.

Fixed once, not patched

A dripping tap usually needs the right washer or cartridge, not a tighter grip on the handle. A constantly filling cistern usually needs the valve replacing rather than adjusting.

We carry the common parts, so most repairs are finished on the first visit rather than becoming a second appointment.

Landlords and letting agents

We work with landlords across Hull and the East Riding on reactive repairs between tenancies and during them. Clear invoices, photographs of completed work, and direct contact with tenants to arrange access if you would rather not be in the middle of it.

Tap and toilet repairs in Hull

A dripping tap, a tap that will not turn off or water beneath a basin can need different repairs. Send a photograph of the tap and any visible leak so we can discuss the fittings and parts before the visit.

For a toilet that keeps running, will not fill or will not flush, describe what happens when you use it. We inspect the cistern, valves and connections and explain whether a repair or replacement part is needed.

Waste pipes, sinks and radiator valves

We handle leaking wastes, blocked sinks and water-side radiator or valve repairs. Tell us where the problem is and whether it affects one fitting or the whole property when you book.

Gas appliances and boiler repairs are outside our scope. If the fault needs a different trade, we will tell you before taking on the job.

Most systems should sit between 1 and 1.5 bar when cold. Repeated pressure loss usually means a leak somewhere.

Questions about maintenance and repairs

Do you take on small tap and toilet repairs?
Yes. Dripping taps, leaking wastes, running cisterns and toilets that will not flush are part of our everyday work. Send a photo and describe the fault when you book.
Can you work directly with my tenant?
Yes. We can arrange access with tenants for landlord and letting-agent repairs, with clear invoices and photographs of completed work.
Do you repair boilers or gas appliances?
No. We work on water plumbing, including radiators and water valves. Boiler and gas appliance work should be booked with a Gas Safe registered engineer.
